Our library at Ridgeview High School is well-stocked with a wide range of books from the classics, to the best in young adult fiction, general fiction, biographical nonfiction, and nonfiction. Students at Ridgeview are fortunate to have thousands of book titles at their disposal. We are located in Room 5 and we share space with students in the Resource Specialist Program. We operate on a unique "Honor System" that centers around personal responsibility and student accountability. Because our library specialist, Gina Lefebvre, is not available during all school and library hours, students are given the freedom to check out books on their own as well as return them when they are finished reading, without being given a due date or having to renew their books. It is library policy that if a book is lost or damaged, the student is responsible for the cost of replacing the book.
