Healthy Kids Survey

Healthy Kids Survey

Students to participate in health survey

PUSD students will be asked to be a part of the California Department of Education's Healthy Kids Survey (HKS).    This survey will be administered to all students at Ridgeview High during in the fall of 2017.   This is a very important survey that will help us promote better health and safety among our youth, combat problems such as drug abuse and violence, and gather information to identify needs for grant proposals.   The survey asks questions about health-related behaviors, experiences, and attitudes.  It also asks questions about use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; bullying and school safety; and environmental and individual strengths.

Participation is voluntary, confidential and anonymous.  If you do not want your child to participate, you must notify the school and complete a Withdrawal Form at least a week before the survey is administered.  You can examine the survey by clicking on this link HKS Survey or at the front office.

Ridgeview Rangers

Ridgeview started a new hands-on program in January 2015. Students will get PE, Science, and Elective credits and get out in the community with service projects and field trips. See TAB on the website for more info!
